Want to change your plan?
If you want to change your plan, you have until the "change of registration (Drop/Add)" date to make a meal plan change (see academic calendar). After that date, you may not change plans. If you move from a Hanover Residence Hall to Greek Housing, the portion of your meal plan already used will be prorated. (For example, if you use half of the plan the first quarter of the term, the Greek House will only receive half of the meal plan allotment.) If you move from Greek Housing to a Hanover Residence Hall, your meal plan will be prorated depending on how many weeks of the term are remaining. Your Hanover College Identification card will be validated with your meal plan choice and must be presented at each meal.
ID Cards
All Hanover students are provided with an identification card. Your Hanover ID card is very important! You will use it everyday, all year long for admission into the Main Dining Room, personal identification for Campus Security and for admission to campus events and the Horner Center. Lost or misplaced or unreadable cards must be replaced for a small fee in the J. Graham Brown Campus Center office. For card replacement when the Campus Center is closed, please come to the Dining Service office near the MailRoom.
You will be required to present your Hanover ID to enter the Main Dining Room for meals or to use your meal plan in The Underground.
Lost or Stolen Meal Cards
Please report lost or stolen cards to Dining Services immediately.

You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program. Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask! Please note, however, that there are exceptions to our Seconds Policy including some specialty nights.
Dining Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
- Remember that your Hanover ID is non-transferable and carries a penalty for misuse.
